Mel Reyna Scott is a coal miner’s daughter from West Virginia based in Los Angeles and launched MPact Pictures during lockdown, with five projects currently in development. She recently self-published a travelogue titled The Year I Fell Into France and is the proud mother of two fur babies Mimi and Booboo.

 

Production credits include:

The Los Angeles premiere of “Why I Am the Way I Am,” a thought provoking one-woman show about humanity. Winner of the Fringe Hollywood Premier Award.

 

Artistic Director and Founder of the LA5 Short Film Festival showcasing fellow Rotarian and Rotarian family member filmmakers. Now renamed the Four Way Film Fest coinciding with the Rotary Four Way Test.

 

Mel Reyna has also worked on a feature co-pro with Broken Road Productions, based on the book Lois Weber In Early Hollywood.
